Does it cost me anything to switch electric and/or natural gas suppliers?

No... in most states. Some Texas customers may have a refundable deposit due at the time of changing to a different electric or natural gas company, but this is refunded after a set amount of consecutive on-time utility bill payments or if a customer cancels service. Also, there are a few possible options for having the deposit requirement waived. Ask one of our independent energy consultants for details.

No deposits are required for residents of other states.

Will I have any power interruption if I switch utility companies?

Switching energy suppliers is a seamless process and you are covered by a satisfaction guarantee. The guarantee states your first month's power bill will be free if there is an interruption in your service due to switching. Are there any early termination fees if I want to switch back to my initial energy supplier?

In the state of Texas, early termination fees may apply. Ask your Ambit Energy Independent Consultant for more information.

If you're from any other states, then absolutely not. While many power companies like to lock down their customers with contracts and early termination fees, this is simply evidence they don't have confidence in the electric and/or natural gas solutions they provide. In contrast, with an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and over one million satisfied energy customers, Ambit Energy does not have those same insecurities. There are no early termination fees if you cancel service.

Do you have any incentives if I refer friends and family?
